The production of the wind turbines and the construction of the wind farm cost energy, and hence CO2 emission. Will the wind turbines produce enough electricity to save this CO2 emission and more?

Is the wind park visible from the harbour of IJmuiden?

The shortest distance form wind farm to the coast is 23 km. On most days the wind farm will not be visible from the coast. On exceptional clear days it should be possible to see the wind farm, but most likely only if you use binoculars.
